David Albert
David Albert was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1994 and has practiced law continuously since that time. During the early part of his legal career David worked as an agent for the Attorney General of Canada, concentrating on the prosecution of drug offences. His experience as a prosecutor gives David a thorough understanding of how best to prepare a defence in complex drug trials. While the bulk of his practice is focussed in the Surrey B.C. area, David’s legal knowledge of drug-related matters and his courtroom abilities have led clients throughout British Columbia to seek out his counsel. Indeed, he has even appeared as legal counsel in other parts of Canada in order to lend his expertise to a client facing criminal charges in another province.
In February 1996 David co-founded Stern & Albert and since then he has practiced exclusively in the areas of Criminal Law and Personal Injury. David holds a degree in law from the University of Victoria and an honours degree in Commerce from Carleton University. He has appeared in all levels of the British Columbia Courts, up to and including the Supreme Court of Canada.
