Michael Fortino
Michael Fortino is a Criminal Defence Lawyer practicing out of Surrey, British Columbia with clients throughout the province. Michael originally joined Stern & Albert as a law student and, after graduation from the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law, Michael completed his articles with the Firm.
Upon being called to the British Columbia Bar, Michael remained with Stern & Albert as Associate Counsel and has appeared in the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia and Alberta. Michael has experience representing clients on a variety of Criminal and quasi-Criminal matters from motor vehicle and impaired driving offences to complex drug matters and serious Criminal Code offences. He has a wide variety of skills and experiences that he uses to assist in representing his clients’ interests. Michael prides himself on providing high quality legal representation for his clients and is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association.
